Diner En Blanc DC

Over the weekend, I attended the 4th annual Diner En Blanc DC, and I had a ball!!

As you can see, I went with my first dress choice that I previously posted about All White Affair.  I liked the fit better and I knew no one else would have it on.

Since the gown is embellished with small pearls, I decided to match it to my accessories.  I used a couple loose pearl strands and pinned them to my braids for an elegant, regal look.

It wasn't as hot as it normally is in DC during August but I couldn't go to an outdoor event without my fan!  This fan is one of my favorites.

Our table was simple but glam. Next year I will step it up like some of the other guests. 

 I definitely saw a lot of inspiration.

The evening started with dinner and wine. Then we mixed and mingled, 

and ended the night on the dance floor.  Constitution Ave was transformed into a night of opulence.

The night was perfect, the weather was perfect, and the view of the Capitol was amazing.  I was frustrated at first since we had to walk from the metro, while carrying everything to the top secret location.  But it was all worth it in the end. I will definitely do it again.  Possibly in another city like New York or Miami (Two of my favorite cities.)
