Hello lovelies! I'm back with a super exclusive look of the day. It's super exclusive because I made this dress! With my bare hands lol. Also with a sewing machine, thread, and fabric.
I made this dress a couple years ago. I don't remember exactly when. I haven't sewn in a while and I actually miss it. I just haven't made the time yet. Hopefully soon. Fashion, sewing, and creating was my first love since high school. Somewhere along the way, I stepped away and tried to live my life the way others wanted me to. I wrote a post about it a while ago. The passion is still there.
I have to put in the work now.
I used a retro Butterick pattern and added my own twist to it with the pleated flap. The fabric has a subtle stretch so it's very flattering.
This classic, chic sheath is perfect for the office, after work, or a cocktail event
with the right accessories.
I'm making a promise to myself to start sewing again. I loved creating my own looks.
And I want to do more of what I love.
